Deanna Rose Farmstead

In coordination with our friends at the Johnson County Master Gardener’s Association, The Sharper Edge & Belgard Hardscapes, Landworks constructed a new walkway through the Butterfly Garden at Deanna Rose Farmstead. This transformation from a pea gravel walkway to a stroller-friendly paver pathway encourages more families to stroll through this beautiful garden. We were proud to be asked to volunteer our services on this project and visitors at the Farmstead will enjoy this new addition for years to come. Special thanks to The Sharper Edge for inviting us to be a part of this renovation and making this a project to remember!

Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead, in Overland Park, Kansas, is a turn-of-the-century farm with nearly 200 animals and birds of prey, vegetable and flower gardens, a one-room country schoolhouse, an old-time fishing pond, pony rides and more.

Proud Sponsor of the ‘State Street Dream Field’ Contest

Landworks donated irrigation system installation services for a complete Rain Bird irrigation system to cover the entire baseball field. The contest was designed to generate community spirit for high school baseball in Kansas City. Schools were first nominated by interested persons in the community who wrote essays to explain why the high school was in need of a baseball field overhaul, as well as why the school was deserving of this project. Truman High School was the proud recipient of the baseball field renovation.
